Good morning Year 3,
I hope you are all keeping cool and staying safe in the hot weather.
Your home learning for Reading, Writing and Maths has now been uploaded to the website. The lessons follow the same format that we use in class, so please try your best and complete as much as you can.
Reading
Read Chapter 4 of The Iron Man aloud using expression. Then complete the activities for both days.
Writing
Day 1 – Read the news report and identify the features of a news report.
Day 2 – Answer the 5 Ws:
Who? What? When? Where? Why?
Maths
Complete your FB4 first. Then complete the main activity. Work through as many questions as you can. If there are any questions that you do not understand, don't worry, we will discuss them together when we are back in class.
Our next maths block is Shape. We will begin by describing turns and angles and then move on to identifying right angles. We will complete the end-of-block test on Friday when we return.
Most importantly, keep yourselves hydrated by drinking plenty of water, take regular breaks and try your very best with the work.
