‘Together we grow, Together we achieve’

Great to see you and welcome!

Welcome!

As headteacher at Pippins School, I welcome you to our magical one-form entry school, nestled in Colnbrook.

Our learning community combines high expectations for all with quality teaching and learning and relationships to ensure that every child achieves his/her personal best. The child lies at the heart of all that we do.  The curriculum is rigorous, creative, rich, relevant, broad and balanced but English and Maths are pivotal and are prioritised within every subject area.  We have high expectations for behaviour of all children and for conduct and profesionalism of staff and the Board of Governors. Ofsted have found us to be a good school.

We provide a caring and secure environment for your child.  The Senior Leadership Team, members of staff, the Governing Body, and our Special Needs Team are very supportive and work with parents and children for the benefit of all. They can be contacted through the School Office.

Our core purpose is to work in partnership with the families of our children to ensure that each individual receives the best education we can offer.  We encourage you to support our approach and work and to take an active part in your child’s education by being involved in school life.  Our school encourages children to take responsibility for their work and for their attitude towards others. We want our children to have the skills and knowledge necessary for the future – for a high quality of life - to be confident and competent members of society.  We are driven to support our children to become confident and capable citizens.  We strive for a common culture, values and ethos across the school, ensuring that is reflected consistently in both policy and practice.  Our ethos promotes the fundamental British Values of Democracy, the Rule of Law, Individual Liberty and Mutual Respect and Tolerance for those with different beliefs.  We encourage children to respect other people, with particular regard to the protected chracteristics set out in the Equality Act 2010, celebrating equality and diversity.

We provide a caring and secure environment for your child. Safeguarding our children and staff is of paramount importance to us. The school's Governing Board, Nurture and Special Needs Team are very supportive.  The Senior Leadership Team (SLT) work closely with parents and children to ensure access to a quality education.  They can be contacted through the school office.

Rather than take our word for the brilliance of Pippins and the nurturing family feel of the school, you are invited to come and see for yourself!  We look forward to seeing you in school and working in partnership with you.

Should you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
